FROM BOSTON TO JAPAN, JAPAN TO BOSTON
OUR VISION
At Boston Japan Community Hub, we envision a vibrant, inclusive, and connected community where Japanese residents, students, scholars, and friends of Japan can come together, share experiences, and support one another. Rooted in events like Japan Festival Boston, we strive to be more than just a cultural organizer — we aim to be a year-round gathering point for the Japanese and Japan-interested community in the Greater Boston area.
OUR EVENTS
Japan Festival Boston began in 2012 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Japan’s gift of cherry blossom trees to the U.S. It has grown into a major cultural event that shares Japanese traditions with the Greater Boston area, attracting around 100,000 attendees annually. The festival is fully volunteer-run and supported by the local community, including over 400 volunteers in 2024.
